2024 NOWRA Mega-Conference

Join NOWRA at the 2024 Onsite Wastewater Mega-Conference from October 20-23 in Spokane, Washington! This year’s conference promises an unparalleled experience for wastewater professionals with a global reach. Featuring dozens of technical sessions, networking opportunities, and industry-leading education, it’s the premier event to advance your career and business in decentralized wastewater.

Arrive early on Saturday, October 19, to participate in a golf tournament supporting NOWRA’s Emerging Professionals Scholarship Fund. Early bird registration for attendees and exhibitors ends September 22, 2024.

A key highlight of this year’s conference is its timing with the 50th anniversary of Spokane’s 1974 World’s Fair, a milestone in environmental history. We’ll kick off the event with updates on EPA activities, NOWRA’s research, and industry insights from thought leaders. The conference includes multiple technical tracks with opportunities to earn continuing education credits, a vibrant exhibitor hall, an oral and poster contest for emerging professionals, social events, and a final day field trip.

Set in Spokane’s revitalized downtown, with the scenic Spokane River and historic Riverfront Park nearby, the conference location adds a touch of local charm and history. Spokane’s role in the World’s Fair and its environmental legacy aligns perfectly with this year’s theme: “Celebrating Tomorrow’s Environment: Clean Water for the Future.” We’ll reflect on 50 years of progress in water protection and envision the future of the onsite industry.

The Spokane Convention Center will host the event, conveniently located near Riverfront Park. Hotel accommodations at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Spokane City Center are available until September 19.

While attending the conference, take advantage of Spokane’s rich cultural history by visiting the Expo ’74 exhibit at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, or explore the city’s dining, entertainment, and scenic attractions. Visit Spokane’s website for more travel ideas.

The 2024 Onsite Wastewater Mega-Conference is a collaborative effort by NOWRA, NAWT, SORA, WOSSA, and O2WA. We look forward to seeing you in Spokane for a memorable and impactful event!
