Welcome to Yankee Onsite Wastewater Association (YOWA)
Yankee Onsite Wastewater Association (YOWA) is now refocusing its efforts. Although we will focus many of our efforts on Massachusetts, we remain a New England regional organization. Our mission is to provide knowledge, grow the profession, and educate the membership of the designers, installers, service providers, system owners and regulators to protect the environment and public health and to promote sustainable onsite wastewater systems in New England.
It is the organization that will represent industry interests as the official New England affiliate of the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA). NOWRA is the largest national organization representing all sectors of the onsite/decentralized wastewater industry (i.e., pumpers, contractors, installers, regulators, designers, engineers, manufacturers, and educators).
Information on “Why You Should Join YOWA” as well as a membership application is available on this website. We hope you will join the over 4,000 members of NOWRA and its state affiliates.
